Tim oversees NZTE’s strategy development, internal and external stakeholder relationships, corporate services and people functions, and Māori capability and relationships.
He joined NZTE in 2005, and has been general manager of Customers, general manager of International, director for China and regional director for Australia Pacific. In 2019, he completed a secondment at Landcorp, developing a growth and investment strategy for Pāmu Foods, Landcorp’s value-added foods business.
His previous roles include industry initiatives manager at the New Zealand Racing Board, corporate finance advisor at Communications Equity Associates and management consultant at Hatch Beddows, where he specialised in mining and metal products. He has a business studies degree from Massey University, and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
